The Resort at Eagle Mountain Lake is a 540-acre luxury master-planned community. You can get into the neighborhood starting in the $300K range. Custom homes start at about $400K. Taxes are generally in the 2.3 to 2.4% range. New build homes do have higher taxes – about 3%.

Amenities

The Golf Club at the Resort is a 6,636-yard, Par 72, 18-hole championship golf course with a fitness center and restaurant. You can up your game with their practice facilities, including a putting green and huge turf range. Golf lessons with a PGA pro instructor and club fitting is also available.

The 8,000 square foot clubhouse offers casual dining. For super casual dining, pool-side food and drink service is available. After dessert, you can go work out at the fitness center.

Other amenities include a park with playground, fishing dock, and private boat launch.

Big Plans

The Resort at Eagle Mountain Lake has big plans for you! They own a stretch of land where they plan to build a marina with a beach and pavilion.

HOA

The Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake is a professionally managed community. Annual dues are about $1700, paid quarterly. You can pay dues online, access HOA documents, and more on their website.

What to Do on The Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake

You can go bar hopping in downtown Fort Worth if you want. It’s about 25 minutes away. But you’re probably going to be too busy enjoying activities at The Resort at Eagle Mountain Lake.

Shopping

Enjoy a lazy day of antique shopping at the Azle Antique Mall. Or shop and dine at Sundance Square (don’t you just love that name?)

Restaurants

Homemade pasta, chicken parm, and fried calamari at Taste of Italy. Hankering for a nice juicy burger? Check out The Lakehouse. They also have a root beer float that’s not for kids. For some good chili, fajitas, and enchiladas, Pulido’s is the place to be.

Activities

The Fort Worth Boat Club holds social events all year long, like The Annual Regatta and Casino Night.

Hike and picnic at Eagle Mountain Park. Enjoy nature and get a great workout on the Eagle Mountain Lake Park Trails.

You’re going to be right near Eagle Mountain Lake, so, we’re thinking water sports could be a fun thing to do. You can rent ski boats, pontoon boats, and jet skis at Suntex Watersports at the Eagle Mountain Marina. All rentals include a life jacket.

For the Kids

Sailing Camp through the Fort Worth Boat Club gives kids 8-17 the chance to enjoy sailing – whether they are novice or experienced sailors.

One way to get the kids to appreciate your custom home in The Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake is to take them camping. The Creek Harbor Campground has cabins for rent and tent sites right on the lake.

Dog Spa

We were not joking about the resort for dogs. The Resort for Pets has “doggie suites” and spa services. Rover can get a pawdicure, individual playtime with a loving human, and take a supervised swim in the pet pool.

New Builders

There are land lots available and custom builders you can work with to build your dream home. Or just select a plan from one of the new communities on Eagle Mountain Lake.

La Frontera by First Texas Homes is in their second phase. Homes start at about $350K. Taxes are higher – 3.01%, but the HOA fee is much lower at $500 per year. Taylor Morrison has sold out, but they may have some inventory homes left. Pounds Homes builds custom homes on your lot. You can enjoy many of the amenities of Eagle Mountain Lake as a renter. Apartment homes in the area offer resort-style living in this luxury community. It’s also a way to get to know the area before you buy. Or a place to stay while you’re waiting for your custom home to be completed.

Legends at Eagle Mountain Ranch

The Legends at Eagle Mountain Ranch apartment community has 1, 2, and 3-bedroom homes that range from 646 to 1105 square feet. Rents start at just $880 a month. Amenities include a resort-style pool with spa, bark park, and fitness center. Private garages and boat slips are available.

Eagles Point

Eagles Point offers a variety of floor plans from 450-square-foot studios to 1078-square-foot 2 bed, 2 bath units. Amenities include a spa, swimming pool, and walking trails right behind the community.
